28A sits to the left of 28B, perched on the rise of a quiet close in Selsdon, South Croydon. These two homes are almost identical in composition and only differ in orientation to the sun. Clean lines, light and simplicity dictate the overall design theme.

Throughout the Close, a familiar architectural style exists, these non-traditional British constructions

popped up in the 70s using timber framed weather cladding for front and rear elevations.

For Swallowdale, Nathan and Taylor sought to refresh the concept and allow for some personality and creativity to surface. A gentle colour palette was selected that incorporated natural materials throughout the build.

For the facade, a blue grey weatherboard by Marley Eternit sits above a durable bright white render. The ground floor interior includes oak engineered flooring throughout an open plan living area leading to an enclosed private garden. A modern Magnet kitchen is finished with oak worktops and patchwork tiling to reflect a handmade quality. In addition to the aesthetics of the build, part of Nathan and Taylors' "Green Steps" aims to improve sustainability by incorporating eco technology. For the Swallowdale development, all windows are triple glazed to enhance energy.
